167 LSAT/ 3.65 GPA - UCLA? T14? Forum

So I scored 167 on my first try on the October 2015 LSAT. I'm a senior at a California state school majoring in Business Law. I've been working full time as a paralegal for the past 2 years at a firm. One of my rec letters is my professor who is a partner at one of the largest firms in the world and he attended UCLA law. I'm of Armenian descent. I'm guessing they don't care if it falls under "white". I also filed for my LLC and began conducting business in the last 6 months.

What are my chances at UCLA? Should I even bother applying to any T14 schools?

Retake.

Retake is the best course of action since you have only taken the LSAT once. Otherwise, Cornell, Georgetown & Michigan are all possible--but likely very expensive with your numbers.

Outside of the T-14, you should be able to get scholarship money.

Congrats on your score, but definitely retake. Your softs sound good, but it would only benefit you to take it a second time assuming that you focus on your worst sections and perform better the second time around.

You are likely to be admitted to UCLA. Not sure about scholarship money, however.
