They will only look at your highest score.

So does the fact that I am still applying within a week cancel out what people say about how applying late with December score is disadvantageous. I am applying early but my second score will be coming in late.

December is not too late. Many of my law school friends applied in December and January.

Higher LSAT score >>>>>>>>>>> applying before December

If you apply now, you may be denied before you get to take the December LSAT.

hmm so you're saying if I know I can score in the 160's I should wait with a 158 right now? That is really the question I should have asked.
