Re: 3.5/165 MA URM, where to ED?
Have you looked at what it is like paying back that much debt? You likely won't receive any scholarship.ggnobbq wrote:I have saved ~60k and my SO will be paying for COL. After a disappointing final LSAT attempt (maxed out attempts), I am debating on where I should ED. My goals are Any big law >>> 50k gig > unemployed. Here is the list of schools I think I have a reasonable shot at:
NYU: high risk, high reward if admitted. If denied, lost shot at other t14 ED
Michigan: Don't mind summer start, not sure if I'm competitive enough.
Cornell: Offers two EDs so I can apply if rejected at another, but imo it's prob the best shot I have at a t14
If anyone has some additional info they can provide to help me make the decision, it'd be much appreciated
Also, look at this applicant from last yea for hope. http://lawschoolnumbers.com/tr3

Re: 3.5/165 MA URM, where to ED?
i wouldn't risk it with NYU. Between Cornell and Mich., I don't see there being a huge difference gpa/lsat wise. Unless you have strong ties to NY and know you want to stay in NY, I would probably do ED Mich.
That said, with you numbers, I would do ED at Northwestern (if you have really good work experience) or (if you don't have exp.) GTown.

Then ED to Cornell or Northwestern if are okay with doing biglaw. Michigan biglaw stats suck.

Is the same advice applicable for a 3.5/167 MA?
Where should I ED?

Don't ED! You will get into a T-14 with $$$. Apply from NYU on down.jfernandes16 wrote:Is the same advice applicable for a 3.5/167 MA?
