How Accurate is Law School Predictor.com?
Is anyone familiar with this website, and if so, how accurate do you think it is - http://www.lawschoolpredictor.com/wp-co ... ograms.htm?
All it takes in consideration is your GPA, LSAT, and minority status. However, those are the three most important factors, so I figure it would be pretty accurate. For example, my GPA is 3.67, and my (practice) LSAT score is 169. It says reach schools for mew are Columbia, NYU, and Chicago. Target schools would be Penn, UVA, Duke, and Georgetown. Safety schools would be Washu, USC, and Emory. Does that sound right?

Sure, they're never certain, but can they be a reliable indicator?ymmv wrote:Inferences from the past regarding the future are never certain.

That sounds like fair advice. Thanks!urbanist11 wrote:If you are under the school's median GPA, which you are for t14, you need to be at least above (maybe at) the median LSAT to feel ok about chances.RamTitan wrote:So I have an idea of what score range I need to study to before I can take the testurbanist11 wrote:Yes they can be more or less but without a real lsat what does it matter?
Either way just score as highly as you can and then see what your options are.

Re: How Accurate is Law School Predictor.com?
I had a 3.7 and a 164 when I applied a few cycles ago. It was really accurate (if a bit conservative)-- I got into nearly all of my matches/safeties and got waitlisted at a few of my reaches.
