3.98/159

Hi everyone,

I'm a bit worried about the apparent discrepancy between my UGPA and LSAT. I was consistently scoring 165-169 in PTs and thought test day went fine, so I'm not really sure what happened there. Needless to say, I'm planning a retake (probably December). These stats bring up fluctuating results between similarly-ranked schools on myLSN, so I'm not really sure what to predict. Not hopeful for T-14 unless I get a significant jump in my next LSAT score. With current numbers, I'd like to aim for WUSTL and Emory.

Also worth mentioning I was an international student (graduated and left the US).

Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks!!

You should keep retaking until you get a 170 (which you can clearly do given your PTs). Then enjoy CCN with $$ or H.

absolutely no way you should consider attending until you start out a cycle with at least a 168. WUSTL and Emory are fine schools for the right situation, but as an international student, you almost certainly aren't in one of those situations, and you should not sell that GPA short. You have pretty much every T14 open to you with a better score; putting in the work now on the LSAT is so so so much easier than putting in the work in law school, trust me.

I'm glad you're retaking. The increased LSAT will give you a huge bump in admissions chances. As it stands now they aren't great.
