3.1 and 168

Post by janderson821 » Sun Jul 26, 2015 11:57 am

My GPA is only a 3.13 after adding some high school credits that I bombed. I also had a really terrible sophomore year and will write an addendum for that because the rest if you take that year out my GPA is above a 3.5. I have no interest in retaking the LSAT and just would like to know if anyone has suggestions for schools to apply to/where I have the best shot. I grew up in the east coast and would love to move back there but I'm really open to looking all over the country. Thanks in advance :D .

If you are adamant about not retaking, you would have decent shots in the top 20/30 with some odds at partial scholarships.

I think not retaking the LSAT can sometimes be a reasonable decision even when there is room for significant improvement. But that is in large part dependent upon (1) your financial situation, (2) your professional goals, (3) your current social and family situation, and (4) your reason for not retaking. If you can give light to these four points, and anything else which you think might be relevant, I think we will be able to better advise you. This is an important decision, and we really ought to have as much relevant information as possible, so please explain your situation as fully as possible.
