Hate to make one of these but got a somewhat disappointing score on Weds and am trying to figure out my gameplan. I have taken the LSAT three times, albeit one was outside of the limiting timeline, so technically I do have one more take, but I'm hesitant to use it (doesn't 4 look really bad)? Was steadily PTing at 170 but it is what it is (and I guess 167 isn't too far below that). I was hoping to get NYU/Penn into play but think those are out. Applied to Mich last cycle and got rejected but will ED give me a shot? Am also eyeing Northwestern/UCLA to add to my list, as well as reapply to Gtown and Cornell (and add some safeties as well).
I will have 3 years of good, relevant we (V20 law firm and municipal gov job related to the area of law I wish to practice), and great school-specific recs from alums for some of these (including mich). 3.6 is from a top LAC that does not have particularly rampant grade inflation. Money is not too much of a factor, though it obviously would have been nice to have a score to leverage that/make this process a little less stressful.

Don't ED, because you lose all leverage by doing so. Apply to all of those schools RD, and if you think you can improve then retake again. I have very similar numbers to you and got into almost all the schools you mentioned. Feel free to PM me if you want specifics.

Don't. You probably could get some money from Cornell.
