2.65 / 161
2.65 GPA / 161 LSAT
Do I have a chance at a full ride to University of San Diego? Was PTing 166-172 so the 161 was extremely disappointing. Going to be retaking October. With this 161 what are my chances of getting a scholly to USD though? Thanks.

Why is it that absurd posts like this moron get so many replies yet I pose a "what if" scenario with significantly better numbers AND I'm a URM and I can't get any feedback from you guys?

Check out their 509:

You could get in, I suppose. Chances of scholarship could vary from $0 to full tuition. Those things are very hard to predict.

1. You have AFRO in your name.AfroJordan23 wrote:Why is it that absurd posts like this moron get so many replies yet I pose a "what if" scenario with significantly better numbers AND I'm a URM and I can't get any feedback from you guys?
2. You do not post regularly on this site....Clearly you work / study / have a life / meet people / maybe even jog.
3. You are a URM on TLS.
Answering your question.
My first assumption is that you have received fee waivers given your LSAT score. Apply to these schools, even though they are not t14.
Secondly, you may want to try a private tutor. There is wynzant.com. You can research the best tutor for you available in your area. Also, use this time until October to take take every available PT and answer every question within one minute. Try to bump your score by ten points. You can do this within the next three months. Lastly, after you take the October test visit the t14 of your choice. Apply. Profit.

Re: 2.65 / 161
I don't have money for a private tutor and even if I did fuck that noise. I was PTing around 170ish for a solid two months prior, I don't think there is any magic formula some douchebag getting paid 50$ an hour will be able to give me that will make much difference. I uncharaceristically went -4 and -4 on each LR and also did awful on RC -7. I think my main issue was a mix of nerves and making stupid careless mistakes which I don't intend on doing again. My plan over the next 3 months is to spend one month drilling heavily and the next 2 doing the 20 PTs I left untouched incase I needed a re-takeLegacy Rabbit wrote:1. If you were PTing in the 170s for a "solid two months" then your day of score is a 161....there is a problem.AfroJordan23 wrote:I don't have money for a private tutor and even if I did fuck that noise. You need to PT in real test conditions and PT in stressful conditions. Take a PT in a starbucks. PT in a library. DO NOT PT IN YOUR HOUSE. Fuck all that comfort.

If you were PTing in the mid 170s for two months and you dropped to a 164....there is STILL a problem. You dropped ten points. Therefore, my response remains the same.
Regardless, you are the one bitching that no one is giving you attention. You are the one dropping ten points after two months of PTing in the 170s range. Quit running your mouth like a junior high bitch, figure your shit out, and stop hijacking other peoples threads.
