Re: 3.78/163 Mexican American URM
Retake the LSAT, score 168+, and then you'll have a shot at almost every T14 (besides HYS). Don't waste that GPA!

Yeah there's no excuse for settling with that 163 and being a borderline candidate. With a high 160s score you'll get some serious t14 scholarships.

Thank you guys so much. So as it stands now i'm not a good candidate for any t14 even as a URM? Ouch. I guess i'll retake and shoot for 168+. If I hypothetically get a 168+, do I really not have a good shot at HYS with this GPA?

I think you might get into a couple of the lower t14s, but probably not with much money if any. Raise it to a 168 and you are almost certainly in everywhere besides HYS with big money and at least in at H.

You are probably a near shoe-in at a t t-14 with your current score; Georgetown's 25th is 163. With a 168+ you'll be looking at HYS. Use Law School Numbers for more info.yoglol wrote:Thank you guys so much. So as it stands now i'm not a good candidate for any t14 even as a URM? Ouch. I guess i'll retake and shoot for 168+. 2-3 more points even can get you into some T-10s with money too. The URM bump is what does it.
