hello everyone just wanted to hear some of ur opinions on my chances of getting scholarships
im targeting
Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, San Diego Law
id say those three are my realistic targeted schools
I got 161 on feb 2014 test..planning to take it again in june 2015.
Graduated with 3.65 GPA from UCLA as a poli sci major
Currently enlisted in Republic of Korea Air Force, will be out next year from the air force as a Staff Sergeant.
Working about a yr in a mid-size law firm right after graduation in 2013.
I need to get at least $35,000 per yr from those schools.
possible with current score?
161 / 3.65 what are my chances of getting $$$? Forum

If you can score over a 168+ in June, you could probably get in at UCLA/USC with some $. Sounds like your US ties are in socal and are targeting socal after law school so I'd def at least aim for UCLA/USC.
ETA: My cousin just got out of ROKAF last year.

well its not that i dont want to go to ucla / usc
its jst that with my current financial situation
and looking at my current score, loyola or pepperdine would make more sense
so yeah jst wanted to see my chances jst in case i dont score well in june.
and do u think ROKAF would help me as part of admission??

From those schools, your chances of getting some $ aren't terrible.
I'd advise you focus on the retake though. You have a fairly strong GPA. With even a 5 point LSAT score improvement, your options get much better than pepperdine/loyola.
As nlee10 said, you could get into your undergrad alma mater with some $ if you improve your LSAT. If they don't give you the $ you need, you will almost undoubtedly be accepted with some serious money at Pepperdine, putting you in a much better spot than you are currently in. Just don't get too set on a JD required job if you attend Pepperdine (see LST for employment figures).
