Will Michigan even consider someone under 3.0?

If you're actually URM, and your LSAT score isn't possibly going to be higher than 167, you're pretty fucked. Might be in at GULC if you're 167. Bet bet is to retake for 170+ and go to T6.

I don't think you're auto-ding at Mich or Cornell with your gpa trend/URM status. You would need a higher LSAT score, like 168+ though for a good shot at getting in. <167 is a little low for T14 at sub 3.0, even for URMs with a great upward trend.

This is such a weird question. Hogwarts? Are you just choosing schools based on artsy pictures posted in a look book? URM status will help but who knows whats going to happen without an LSAT score a 162 wont get you anything above notre dame. Where are you from? what are your goals? I know you don't want it, but this weird hodgepodge of school choices indicates you need guidance.

If you end up at the 167 end of the 162-167 spectrum and you legitimately qualify as URM, you're not fucked. You'll get some lower T14 acceptances and probably a good deal of money at WUSTL. But hitting even 170 would put some really good options in play. Realistically, a sub-3.0 is only an effective auto-ding at the T6 and Berkeley (and, honestly, even NYU has been known to dip pretty low for high LSATs).

IDK if he's a legit URM, I'm gonna bet he has a chance at any school where he's at or above the 75th percentile LSAT. Including HYS. The 2.99 (3.0, really) isn't going to deter a school from admitting a URM that will maintain/bump their 75th median, especially with the 20% drop in 170+. You're a unicorn, nobody cares if your teeth are crooked.
