4.0 GPA, What LSAT score will I need to get into NYU, U Penn
Hi TLS,
Have a 4.0 GPA and some good softs. What score will I need to get to get into NYU/UPenn/ Georgetown?
These are my top three choices and getting into any one of those schools would be life changing.
I know there's some website where you input your numbers, however, I'm not sure how accurate it is. I figured people here would know a lot better.
Taking LSAT in June, thanks in advance!

Checkout http://www.mylsn.info. That will help you more than people here
Don't expect your softs to help you outperform your numbers

Getting in is the relatively easy part, especially with that GPA. You should be aiming for a ton of scholarship money. For that, every point over 170 will mean a ton more $$$.
With a 172, you're probably looking at a full ride for Penn.
I don't know much about NYU but you're looking at serious money above a 172 (their 75th%), I would think.
Georgetown is notoriously stingy with scholarships so who knows about them.
Here is a spreadsheet with the current class stats for each law school. General rule is that if you're at median, you get some money & if you're above 75th%, you get a lot of money.

I'm not sure that getting into NYU, Penn, or Georgetown would be life-changing, in a way that wouldn't also be true if you get into Columbia, Michigan, or Cornell.
It might be helpful to do some more research on various top law schools and what they have to offer. In the meantime, your goal should simply be to get the highest LSAT score possible. Every additional point is worth something (more scholarships and better opportunities).

Try again.Auxilio wrote:I am not sure why you are giving into them, their own link even says that the biggest scholarship is full 1L and 1/2 of 2L and 3L (the Levy scholarhsip)js1663 wrote:Thank you both, I stand correctedDirigo wrote: https://www.law.upenn.edu/admissions/fi ... rships.php
In 2002, the Chair of our Board of Overseers, Paul Levy L’72, decided with his wife Karen to make an incredibly generous gift to create the Levy Scholars Program. This prestigious program is all encompassing, starting with a merit scholarship of full tuition and fees for three years of study at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. It will also include establishing mentoring relationships with faculty in areas of interest to the recipients, specialized programmatic support, research assistant opportunities, and more.

Probably a 168, but a 170 is necessary to make any of them reasonable to attend
