Is it worth throwing out a Yale app just for fun or is it too late and just a waste of money?

I'd send it. Yale doesn't really do rolling admissions so an app sent at the deadline theoretically has just as good of a chance as a day 1 app.

Apply. As long as you do it by the deadline, your chances will be the same as they would have been if you'd applied on day 1.

You're at median for LSAT and GPA at Yale so be more bullish! Do you have good softs/recommendations? That will matter a lot for Yale and Stanford.
