Me and the possible chances !

Post by Klopatra » Sat Dec 27, 2014 9:33 am

Hi All,

I have just got to know this amazing Forum today, then I decided to examine my possible chances to get admission to the USA top law schools.

What are your suggestions to me according to ;

* GPA 4
* Attorney at Law since 2010
* Postgraduate student in International Human Rights Law In Scandinavia (working on my thesis at the moment)
* several honors and scholarships, Volunteer public services etc.
* IELTS (Listening 8, Reading.7, Writing.7, Speaking.8, overall.7.5)
* No LSAT yet.

P.s, I am an Iranian national and my license is issued By Iran Bar Association.

Thanks guys :)

Foreign GPAs don't count towards schools' medians. Therefore your LSAT will determine everything.

I see.
Does it mean that the 4 GPA has no valuable weight in my resume ? :D

By the way, What could be the above average LSAT score that I can rely on to get TLS admission?

P.s, I have to start preparation for LSAT from 0 !
So do you have any idea how long does it take to reach myself to an appropriate result?! (Certainly by tremendous efforts ;) )

Thank you :)

It won't hurt you, but it really does all come down to the LSAT.

The LSAT you need will be dependent on the school you want to attend. Try to at least score at their median for a good shot at admission.
