3.2 GPA at top 10 school, double major, URM...
3.2 GPA (transferred from community college to top 10 school)
Black female
Double majored in philosophy and German
Schooling interrupted twice due to illness/surgery and other person circumstances.
Grew up abroad/traveled/unique life experiences
Honesty please: What do I need to aim for on the LSAT for a T-14 school, and which schools should I apply to?

You would almost definitely get in with a 160. The 3.2 is working against you, but an ok GPA and 160 will get you in. Your travel is irrelevant. Why would anyone care? That'd be the most elitist thing ever.

Sorry to hijack your post, but what would you guys say a reasonable LSAT score would be to have a decent shot(>60%) at Harvard/Columbia as a black female with that GPA?

Difficult to recommend law schools without an actual LSAT score. Nevertheless, as a black female applicant, any score in the 160s should get you serious consideration for admission to several T-14 law schools.

Don't law schools prefer applicants with unique experiences? I grew up in Hawaii, lived in Japan for six years, and in Germany. I've heard from many sources that law schools want applicants whose background has afforded them a unique/broad cultural perspective.AReasonableMan wrote:You would almost definitely get in with a 160. No, law schools like saying that but they really only care about LSAT/GPA and whether you are a URM.ashca14 wrote:Don't law schools prefer applicants with unique experiences?
