URM 3.4-3.5 LSAT 170
Wondering my chances. AA URM My gpa is pretty low because I had some extenuating circumstances that require an addendum. I had all 3.8-4.0 and one horrendous 0.something because I forgot to withdraw. My LSAT is a 170. My top 5 are Yale, Harvard, Michigan, NYU, and possibly Columbia but not sure. I also would like Ohio State (random). Thoughts?

If you haven't already, see if you can get the bad grades retroactively changed to Ws. Even still, you're in a very good spot. Harvard is much more likely than not and Michigan and CN won't be an issue. I hope you aren't serious about Ohio State because its hard to justify going there at all, much less when you won't have to pay much to go to an appreciably better school. Yale is a crapshoot, but you stand a fair chance.thatonedude2 wrote:Wondering my chances. AA URM My gpa is pretty low because I had some extenuating circumstances that require an addendum. You didn't give us much to work with regarding the facts of your 0.x semester but it sounds like you really need to pursue retro Withdrawal. You have the potential to be a real luminary for your undergraduate institution. They should at the very least be reasonable and open to such a conversation with you.
