3.87/TFA/LSAT?
Hi guys:
I am just curious as to your opinion on my chances at T-14 schools given the following stats:
GPA: 3.87 from UGA (political science/journalism/honors program)
LSAT: Test scores vary from 165-168, but aiming up to 170 for the Sept. LSAT
Softs: TFA (2 years, HS English Indianapolis) Masters Degree in Secondary Teaching

LSN will be more helpful than any of us in telling you where you might get in. But I think I might have some helpful advice . . .
The key is not getting into a T-14. They key is getting enough scholarship money to make that T14 a reasonable investment.

Thanks everyone. I DEFINITELY agree with what you all are saying about scholarships. I do not think, pragmatically, it makes sense to attend one of these schools if I get no funding. But, I am curious what you all say about that as well.
I know lsn is a good gauge, but it doesn't account well for softs. Although they are not a huge deal, I am curious if anyone has insight as to if TFA might tip the scales for someone just shy of the 170 barrier.

If you mean shy like 169, I would say TFA would help. But even with a 169, you'll get lots of money from schools.emilyef2013 wrote:Thanks everyone. Wanna go for a walk? Seriously though we both know it all depends on that lsat. Mylsn.com aggregates the data so that is helpful to look at.
