How will a much lower retake impact my chance

I saw people say that retake doesn't impact you as along as you are not aiming at HYS, but what if it is a much lower retake, say, 10% or 20% lower due to some unforeseeable conditions

No one knows. Write an addendum if you were diagnosed with ebola the morning before the test or something similarly severe.

Exactly my situation! I got an 8 point decrease from my 1st score
how would this affects my chance?
Should I take the LSAT for the third time and prove that the second one is just a fluke? I'm kind of lost faith in myself right now... :(
