GPA due to two bad semesters (really bad) in 1999-2000, and one in 2012. My degree GPA is 3.5. Only took the LSAT once.

I've already been accepted and have scholarship offers from a few T2 schools and several T3 schools (one full-tuition). I'm still waiting to hear from the only T1 school I've applied to, Illinois. Deposits are coming up, and I need to chose. Here is my question: If I take the June LSAT and score higher (I've been getting practice scores near 170), will my scholarships increase for this cycle? I'm a super-non traditional student, and would really prefer to go this fall.

maybe dude. They will definitely consider increasing your schollys, but no one can say for sure whether they will.

Unfortunately with that LSAT and that GPA, unless by non-traditional you mean you have a medal of honor, there's very little chance you'll be admitted to Illinois. I would advise you study like your life depended on it (because it kind of does if you're going to be a lawyer), and then take the test in June and reapply next year with a decent score.

That being said, if you absolutely feel you have to go to law school right now, I would say take the full ride. Worst case scenario, it doesn't work out and you're set back three years, but it's not like you have crippling debt for the rest of your life.

If you're scoring near 170 on PTs, then you should retake and reapply. The LSAT is the most important part of your application, and you can't half ass it. It's even more important because of the poor GPA.
