Re: 3.0 undergrad GPA / 168 LSAT ; Chance of T50? Help out :)

With your numbers, you should be able to get in at Hastings and/or Davis, though possibly off the WL. That said, you might be better served looking at other T1s with better employment prospects. With your numbers you could get $$ at a good number of equal and better placing schools.

In addition, you likely have an outside shot at USC/UCLA (sticker, of course) and you're a good bet for $$$ to $$$$ at Irvine

Do I really have a good shot? Their median GPA seems really high hinting that they value that a lot.. :/
A good shot at one of Hastings/Davis? Yes. Here are numbers at or below yours for the past few years. You'll notice no straight dings at either school, plus a couple of WL at UCLA. That said, Hastings has very little to offer in terms of job prospects.

Don't forget, if they only took people above their median, it wouldn't be their median. Hastings 25% GPA is 3.29. Approximately 80 1Ls had GPAs below that. (And once they dip below their 25th %ile, they can go as low as they want without it making any difference in their numbers.)

T50? Good chance. T14, probably not. That link is to my cycle so far with a <3.0 and a 168.
