155 LSAT; 3.44 GPA

Post by DelsLemonade » Mon Dec 09, 2013 9:00 am

I know I'm not going to Harvard... but what are my odds of getting into a Top 100 law school?

Retake the LSAT into at least the 160s, then target the best school in the geographic region you want to live/work in. It would be better for you to go to, say, the 38th best law school over the 26th best if #38 is in the region you want to be in. Outside of the top 14, law schools are mostly regional and rankings are secondary.

With those numbers you will pay ~$250,000 for a 30-50% chance at becoming a lawyer.

With a 170+, you can get into schools where that number is 70-90%, and probably pay much less. Treat the LSAT like a significant investment in your future, because it's a huge part of the admissions process.
