What the previous posters said is accurate, but a retake to even the ~167 range pushes you from reach to huge scholarship. Do you think with enough studying you could get 4 more questions right?

To expand on this idea that if you retake and get a 167 you could get a huge scholarship- you could even get one to the schools at the top of your list. EVEN AT THE TOP OF YOUR LIST. Check out this link, look at how hard Vandy went for those 167s specifically.

Semi-decent chance at USC. I wouldn't venture straight admit unless you're a URM but okay shot at waitlist which seems to have been the route taken by most of my 1L class this year... they were fairly desperate and I got decent money off the waitlist, though you'd probably be best retaking to get into the 165-66 range.

FWIW:

I have similar numbers - 163/3.8x, non-URM, significant legal work experience with leadership role. Got into Vandy and WUSTL fairly early this cycle and am waiting on $ info (if any). Also got into a few schools similar to the ones on your list with $$ (think UGA, W&M, etc). Others here will tell you/us to retake - and they're probably right - so I'll leave that lecture up to them.
