Student profile or admission numbers?

Hey guys,

I've been noticing a trend with every school I'm filling out apps for where there are significant differences between the student profile of the freshman class of the law school and admission stats. For some schools I'm noticing that the admission median is actually the profile's 75th in terms of LSAT and GPA. I'm wondering which numbers are more important :?:

1Ls, not freshmen.

Schools admit a lot more people than actually enroll. That person with the 4.33/178 who ends up at Yale probably also got into Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, NYU, Chicago, etc. They drag up the medians of the admitted pool for all of those schools, but only the entering class medians they affect are Yale's.

Schools are worrying about maintaining the medians of their entering class. Those are the numbers that you compare to yours.
