3.23, 166 mixed URM, DUI, some interesting work experience abroad and in the US....no really interesting softs...applying early ED UCLA or just apply regular and maybe take the Feb LSAT if a decision hasn't been reached by then? ( would be 5th retake so really against it, but at this point I kind of want to take it as a personal challenge more than anything ) Any hope with the declining applicant pool?

Yep my bad, I just saw that, wasn't sure which section it really should be in so if a mod can delete the one in the wrong section that would be great, thanks again man

Cool, but do you think I got any shot at either with my current stats or taking it again and scoring higher is the only bet?

I think you have a decent shot at both right now, but retaking and scoring higher will increase your chances/potentially earn you scholarships.

mylsn.info will allow you to see your chances now, and your chances with different LSAT scores.

The fifth retake be a detriment? I feel pretty lame taking it for the fifth time but its become an obcession to crack 170.

Nah man, taking it a 5th time won't hurt you, especially at these schools. Just nail it this time. There are some great resources on this site for how to prepare for a retake. You should check them out in the LSAT thread.

What kind of URM? If AA, you're definitely in at USC with $$ and probably the same at UCLA and you should actually be for T14. If MA, you've definitely got a good shot at both schools but you'll be paying near sticker.

oh dam, yea just African, Not AA, on my mother's side...the fact that i'm mixed with cacausian seems to lessen the blow I think huh? Because I was WL at several T-14's last year, albeit I did apply later, but I also got $$$ at GW and Emory, the only top 25 i applied to outside of all the t-14 and SC and UCLA.

I would take SC or UCLA at almost sticker though, as an LA native with ties here, I think I'll be fine post-grad.
