Re: 167/3.52 - Cornell ED
Applying ED will likely yield some advantage but it'll be hard to tell how much until next cycle. Cornell at sticker is a ton though. Are you considering a retake?

Yes, you will get an advantage. No, you should not apply ED to Cornell (barring having parents that live in Ithaca and are willing to chip in for all COA or something). Yes, you should absolutely retake.

Retake unless parents are crazy rich and you don't mind spending lots of their money

Re: 167/3.52 - Cornell ED
Consider retaking, aim for a 169 and ED to UPENN/NYU. Your $$$$ would have more "sway" in admissions at a school like UPENN/NYU as they are increasingly cross-subsidizing to maintain their median LSATs. Your ED $$$$ would enable admissions to offer attractive scholarship packages to 169+ LSAT applicants that would normally matriculate to a higher ranked school, namely Chicago or Columbia.

Parents are indeed paying, retaking anyway (Saturday).nebula666 wrote:BigZuck wrote:Retakeunless parents are crazy rich and you don't mind spending lots of their money
Hoping that with the trend of dropping medians, I won't need the few point boost I anticipate getting on the retake.
