Apply to the whole T14 as well as UCLA/USC. Also, seems like you have have a legit reason to write an addendum. Someone will take you.

Addenda that attempt to explain away four years of poor grades, rather than just 1-2 semesters, likely lose any effectiveness they otherwise might have had. There are probably 4-5 schools in the T-14 where you have no shot, but otherwise apply broadly and you should have some solid choices.
