I have a dui and a weed charge (also a petty theft thats gonna be dropped cause I walked out of restaurant without playing)

I was wondering if anybody knows anyone who has misdemeanors and have been successful lawyers.

Your success will be determined by how good a lawyer you are (unless you have mad money/connections). Getting into schools won't be a huge problem. Dine/dash is a dick move, but you can explain that away. The weed charge only make you different than the other applicants in that they didn't get caught. The DUI could limit your mileage as that charge is viewed with a whole different level of contempt/scrutiny.
