Just managed to raise my gpa up to a 3.0 (from a sub 3.0).
I assume this makes a difference in the t-14, but how much? Does this open up any more doors for me?
I asked a few months ago and got responses saying that NU and GULC were basically my only two options, but that if I could get it up to a 3.0 things might change.
What do my new chances look like? 3.0/170+ (out of retakes)/nonURM, average or possibly below average softs.
Thanks!

If I had applied ED to Penn I think I'd have gotten in. I also got a feeler call from UVA which I think would have accepted me if I didn't tell them I was going to NU and to take my name off the list. This upcoming cycle won't be any better. Apply early!
*edit*
sub 3.0 and just over 3.0 will make a world of difference. Get over 3.0.

3.01/172
ED to Penn accepted. I wrote all of the essays, had a phone interview, and got the call a week before Christmas. Hadn't heard from anywhere before then. Thus, I withdrew from everywhere before any feedback, so I don't have much more information for you.
Good luck.
