4.2/166,168 International.
My gpa is out of 4.5 ("Superior" on LSDAS evaluation) and I have two scores.
Do I have a decent chance on Cornell? (maybe if I ED?)
What about Berkeley?
I'm aiming for the lesser of the T14 due to my poor LSAT.

You're in at Cornell; Berkeley has more holistic admissions and we cant predict with only the numbers. It will depend on how well the thrust of your entire app fits with Dean Toms crafting. A 168 isnt prohibitive, however, nailing a 170 is always helpful especially for international students whose GPAs arent as reliable.
Additionally, at Cal you will need a matching scholarship from other peer T14s (Michigan, UVA, Penn, ect). A 170+ will help with admission/schollies at those schools.

Is this a serious question?fumagalli wrote:Why?akg144 wrote:Re-take get 170+fumagalli wrote:My gpa is out of 4.5 ("Superior" on LSDAS evaluation) and I have two scores.

^ This. Re-take get a 170+ you'll get more money, better schools and better job prospects. There's absolutely no downside to re-taking other than the fact it will require 75 more days of rigorous LSAT preparation. If your not willing to work 75 days to give yourself the best prospect in law you might want to reconsider your decision to go to law school.jbagelboy wrote:You're in at Cornell; Berkeley has more holistic admissions and we cant predict with only the numbers. I really appreciate the reply but I must point out that you're just stating the obvious. Why do you think I have two scores in the first place? I've decided not to take it another time considering various circumstances in my life.
But again, thanks for the reply!

Seriously though, take the October test. You can still get your apps in on time after getting the results back. It won't hinder your app at all. I don't know why you wouldn't, unless you're that hard up for the fee to take the test, in which case I would highly recommend against law school anyway.fumagalli wrote:I really appreciate the reply but I must point out that you're just stating the obvious.
