3.98, 170 on 2nd Attempt. Retake, and chances at HYS/C/C?
As stated above. This is my 2nd LSAT score and is a marginal improvement over the first. Is it worth retaking a 2nd time? How do law schools feel about 3 LSAT scores?
If I don't, what are my chances at these schools? It seems like I'll have a good shot from NYU down, but I'm not so sure about the top schools. I have fairly ordinary softs aside from some fairly prestigious work experience (MBB Consulting/BB Investment Banking), which I'm not sure really helps at most schools anyway.
Thanks for any help.

I've heard most schools only take the highest, but HYS may be the few that actually do average so you might want to look into that.

Iff you've got the motivation and determination to do it, and extra three points puts you in a much better position for HYSCCN.
Yale might be out based on retakes, but you still have chances elsewhere.

Retook, got into H as if nothing had happened. Didn't even get brought up in interview. Don't fret the retakes. you should be sitting pretty with a 170 for HSCC, but if you think you can hit 173+ and don't mind sitting again...Especially since with a 175+ you could very well be looking at a Hamilton from Columbia.

That WE helps a lot. Chance at HS now, 173 makes H close to a lock
172 makes CLS a lock, probably already in now. 176 and you're in hammy range.
Dunno about UChi

I retook--got into all three of HYS. They definitely don't average.
If you think you have the potential to score higher, I'd go for a retake. But if you think you've maxed out, then you still will have great options.
