Where should I apply? What is realistic? I can obviously consult LSN but I'd like to know what boost, if any, non-URM background gets me.

EDIT: Berkeley is the dream, but I know they are GPA driven. Thoughts?

Unless you can write a kickass DS about your non-URM background, no dice.

Yeah, probably no boost, based on the experience of other non-URM hispanics on here. It can depend on the school though.

Blanket the T14's and any strong regionals you would consider

I am Dominican, and I've been reading that specific ethnicity can make a difference. It seems to be somewhat murky water, though.

Very unlikely at Berkeley. In at MVP and down for sure. Maybe CN but not CLS.

Retaking will increase your chances at Columbia and money but probably won't get you into Berkeley.
