Can you do this to raise your LSAC gpa?

Post by tiffanyrussell10 » Sat Feb 16, 2013 7:08 pm

If you have a 170 or higher on the LSAT and a sub<2.5 gpa because of extenuating circumstances and you want to raise that gpa as high of a 3.0 as possible, can you do this?

I called LSAC and asked if I can do this and they said yes and as long as its not your last semester they said yes it would count.

If you are to graduate May 2014, and if summer 2013 and Fall 2013 you enroll and take classes and 2 colleges at once, and get some extra A's there, wont that count for your LSAC gpa? they said yes, but could they have misunderstood when i asked?

Yes, those credits will count. But no, you won't boost your gpa by more than .1 with a couple extra classes, even assuming you manage to get As with the increased workload.

Yes. This is a terribly written question. But, OP, if you don't graduate till 2014, do whatever you can to delay that and boost your GPA. Do not receive a degree until you have a GPA worth applying with.

Do not post more than 1 thread for the same thing.
