Waitlisted at Chicago, HELP!?
First time poster, in need of some advice.
I was just waitlisted at Chicago. I'm shocked. 167 LSAT 3.71 GPA. Is there any chance in hell I get in off the waitlist? Especially considering I've seen dozens of people posting on TLS who have also been waitlisted to Chicago but with MUCH better numbers. Just trying to keep myself grounded here.
I'm in at Notre Dame, Minnesotta, WashU St. Louis, all with decent money. However, my husband's work is in Chicago and the only school besides Chicago that might work is Notre Dame. I tried to get them to offer a higher scholarship (right now it's $25,000 a year), but they said they've already given me the max.
I don't know what to do here. I would jump at Chicago, even at sticker. But do I have any chance at all?

Honestly ... I didn't even apply. I didn't think I had any shot at either and I wasn't even going to apply to Chicago until I got a fee waiver.

No idea!
And I don't know about your work experience/etc. but if you were waitlisted at Chicago, you may catch someone's eye at Northwestern. Its obviously late to apply but I think $100 is worth it for the chance at staying in Chicago.

I'd be surprised if you got off the waitlist with those numbers. If you really want to be admitted over the summer, retake in June and send them a new 171+ LSAT score. Give them a reason to let you in.

tbh I don't think you have a chance but there's no reason to not ride it out if you really want Chicago

I don't understand the point of this. Does it cost you money to stay on the waitlist or something? Write a badass LOCI and hope you get off it. It's not like you gain anything by withdrawing.

If you would go to Chicago if you get in from the waitlist, stay on the waitlist.
I'm not sure what the point of this question is.
