159 LSAT, 4.0 GPA, International
any thoughts as to which schools would be appropriate to apply? tuition isn't a problem, and no retakes

Why no retake?
If you have an outstanding reason not to retake, then apply to Arizona and down

No retakes is rough -- Wait out the cycle and ED to UVA (though you only have about a 50%-33% chance or so of getting it). When's the earliest you can retake?boblawblog wrote:any thoughts as to which schools would be appropriate to apply? tuition isn't a problem, and no retakes

An American 4.0 could. Yours wont be factored into the rankings so its basically irrelevant.boblawblog wrote:yes GPA is international, from china, never been to the US or any other country yet.Nova wrote:Is the gpa international?

Your current school range is like 40-80.
You should retake the LSAT

I thought your GPA was American -- unfortunately, a 159 and an effectively "blank" GPA will not get you into UVA. Retake the LSAT for sure.boblawblog wrote:yes GPA is international, from china, never been to the US or any other country yet.Nova wrote:Is the gpa international?

Actually, spend most of your waking moments studying for the LSAT. A 173 would put you at both Harvard's medians, which gives you a very solid chance there. That's basically the only thing holding you back right now.
