Did you only get into the ED T14 or others. I understand if you'd rather not say, but which schools did you get into? I'm in a similar situation- 164, 3.8

The school I ED-ed to was the first school I heard back from (actually heard back in 2 weeks). I wasn't interested in finding out if I would get into other schools so I withdrew my apps right away. Sry this information doesn't help your situation. Best of luck.

Retake is the mantra on TLS for good reason and I think it should remain so despite your success. Why throw yourself at the mercy of what might almost be dumb luck to get an acceptance when you can control your own fate by buckling down and working hard on the LSAT? I've got to think that your chance at getting into your target school is much greater when you focus on bringing that LSAT up rather than just polishing everything else and hoping.
Also, I'm sure this will sound snarky and I honestly don't mean it to be but I'm not sure that being locked into sticker at Georgetown is quite the triumph that you're making it out to be. If this is what you want then congrats but I still think the standard TLS advice is best for most people.

If this is GT you are talking about, they wrote 'great personal statement' on my acceptance letter, too (not ED), and mine was SPS so I wouldn't read into it too much. Good job on beating the odds, though!

I would say Cornell, because his numbers aren't that outrageous for them but they don't technically have ED. So its probably either M, V, or Duke. If you could share more details about what it was that you did on your PS that would be helpful

Right now this thread seems to be "check it out, I'm so awesome, I got in and I'm under the medians."
In order for there to be a median, half of the incoming class has to be below it. That's how statistics work.

I don't know why people are so insecure on this website... if you're going to open a thread like this, at least disclose the school. *shakes head*

Yeah. Why create a thread and then not disclose the school? You tell us all about yourself and your application but you won't release what school it is? Really?dirtrida2 wrote:I don't know why people are so insecure on this website... if you're going to open a thread like this, at least disclose the school. *shakes head*
Don't you think that would be useful info for people with similar stats?

Exactly... I would have rather not even read this thread - it's like a tease, lol.
