4.07 LSAC GPA, no LSAT yet- chances at Berkley/NYU/UoM?
Took the December LSAT, didn't feel too great, but was wondering what everyone thinks is the threshold LSAT for me to get into Berkley, UoM, and/or NYU?
I'm a chemical engineering major (with a Master's) and three years work experience in pharma R&D.
Undergrad GPA: 3.98 (LSAC recalculated as 4.07)
LSAT: unknown (I was getting 165-170 on practice, but honestly feel like I did worse than that on actual exam).
thoughts?

I took the LSAT- don't have score yet. Wanted to know what people think is the minimum I need to get in to those schools

search lawschoolnumbers.com
Do your own research. Nobody on here can tell you anything beyond what is already online

OP look at law school numbers.
Before your score comes you can look at what people with your GPA, and what some of your guesses as to what your LSAT will be, ended up getting into and rejected from.

I did look at LSN. But couldn't find anyone with Chemical Engineering listed as major, not sure how/if to factor that.
Thanks for the comments though...

Major probably wont make a difference for admissions. Might be helpful at OCI though.delarge3 wrote:I did look at LSN. But couldn't find anyone with Chemical Engineering listed as major, not sure how/if to factor that.

It's not a factor, so don't factor it in.delarge3 wrote:I did look at LSN. But couldn't find anyone with Chemical Engineering listed as major, not sure how/if to factor that.

because OP Grade has some A+
Some schools calculate A and A + as 4.0
LSAC calculate A is 4:0 and A+ as 4.33

Congratulationfor having great GPA.delarge3 wrote:I took the LSAT- don't have score yet. Wanted to know what people think is the minimum I need to get in to those schools
With you great GPA my guess will be the following:
For Berkeley and Michigan Min LSAT will be 166
For NYU min LSAT 169

Alright, normally his posts in this forum border on useless, but this time it was certainly justified.hume85 wrote:/threadrad lulz wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 9&t=170051hume85 wrote:Where's radlulz?

With your GPA, you have a chance from Cooley to Yale. But without real numbers no one can tell you anything.
