Hey all those admission-savvy experts out there,

I have a 3.71 GPA in applied mathematics & history from a top 5 liberal arts college (Pomona), a 172 LSAT from this october, and I've worked full time since graduation at a midrange litigation consulting firm; and I have a ton of summer intern exp. My pre-law adviser told me top schools at +0.1 to gpas from my college to adjust for the challenge, but I don't know if this is a myth (?).

I submitted all of my applications at the beginning of november; didn't apply to harvard or yale, but I threw in stanford since I want to do IP; from your experiences, do I have a shot? UChicago would be great too. I got a fee waiver from a few schools like upenn that I didn't apply to, is it worth it now (still 21$ for cas). Also, when do applicants actually find out? the rolling process is killing me.

I think you have a very very small chance at Stanford and a pretty good shot at CCN.

Your major and undergrad will not give you the equivalent to a 0.1 boost. Better shot at Harvard (might throw them an app) than Stanford unless you have some undisclosed phenomenal softs.
