UPenn (ED) - No
UVA - No
Duke - WL (as you already know)
Michigan - Maybe. Write a good PS.
G-Town - WL
In at the rest.

I would think in at Georgetown. Although there might be something wrong with your application, people have been accepted to Duke this cycle with significantly lower stats (and non -URM). And why are you not applying to Cornell? What about UT?

Re: 169, 3.71
I originally wasn't going to apply to cornell pending my decision from Duke, but now I am. I was honestly pretty shocked to not get accepted at Duke, so its worrying me a lot for the other schools. I don't think there was anything wrong with my application, so i'm just confused at this point.

Re: 169, 3.71
You have a shot at Michigan, Georgetown, and Cornell, but expect WLs from UVA, Duke, and Northwestern and rejections from the rest.
Even bumping your LSAT score to a 170-171 would drastically increase your chances at NYU, Berkeley, Penn, and UVA, and make Michigan, Duke, Northwestern, and Georgetown a lock. I would consider retaking in Feb if your application is still pending at these schools by then. I would also retake and reapply if you don't get into anything better than Georgetown this cycle.
Unfortunately, a 169 is right on the low side of the LSAT median for many of these schools, so they're not going to take the LSAT hit (and probably GPA hit) unless you bring something really unique to the entering class, which you don't.

You will probably get in off the waitlist. IMO, you will get in to Michigan, Cornell, Georgetown, maybe Penn but probably off of the waitlist. CCN arethe only schools your numbers are holding you back at.ryantw wrote:I originally wasn't going to apply to cornell pending my decision from Duke, but now I am. Re: 169, 3.71
Correct. I ended up not applying there after I got into georgetown, but added UT Austin to the list as well. Hoping to get some surprises, as retaking wasn't really a viable option in my opinion with my course loads. Gpa also up to 3.76. Would really not like to wait a cycle and retake, so lets see how it goes.nebula666 wrote:he probably went there for undergraddingbat wrote:Why is UF on this list?

I think you'll be getting into a lot more schools than youre expecting, especially with down apps this year. Good luck!!ryantw wrote:Correct. OP you should retake. If you don't wish to retake, enjoy LSN
