173 LSAT, 3.3 cumulative GPA, 3.6 degree GPA
Graduated 2 years ago from a top 5 public university, where I transferred to after my freshman year, with a 3.3 cumulative GPA and a 3.6 degree GPA (and 3.8 poli sci major GPA).
Freshman year I attended another similarly ranked university where I ended up with something like a 2.5 GPA. Hated that school, so I transferred.
Every semester since then I've received a 3.55 or better.
Got a 173 on the LSATS.
I've used the various admissions probability calculators, but with a somewhat unusual situation, would definitely appreciate help on generating a list & feedback on my chances. Aiming for top 20. Thanks!

If I were you I would blanket apply to the top 20 outside of HYS (or at least whichever schools in the top 20 you'd want to attend).

"LSATS"
I would guess...
Out at HYSCC
Very small shot at D + B
Decent shot at NP + V
Pretty good shot at NU/Cornell/M/UT/UCLA/USC/Vandy
Pretty much a lock at GULC, UMN and GW
request fee waivers!!

Does that 3.3 include the freshman year 2.5?

All righty, then the other responses are legit. Sometimes people ask without being aware that all schools have to be counted and then half the advice they get is bad.callipygian wrote:@rinkrat19 - yes, the 3.3 includes the 2.5.
