I think I know that answer is a retake though I'm facing some interesting pressure to "just apply" and "see what happens" and "if it doesn't work out, retake and work for an extra year and do it all over again". Was PTing around 170 so I'm confident I can increase my score...but honestly, I just want to get started!
Question: what's the deal with some of these schools that have "lower" LSAT scores (ex. Berkeley)? No chance? Better chances? Do they look for something special?
Chances: NYU, Stanford, UCBerkeley, UPENN, Duke, Georgetown (FT or PT honestly), UChicago

Even if you get decent/better than expected results, retake and reapply. Schools that accept you will give you $$ with another 4-5 points.

Berkeley is a whore for GPAs like most of the California schools, and I would guess it would be your best bet. However if you retake and score 170+ you'll get money from several of those schools and some decent shots at HYS.

Why do people ask for advice when they already know the right answer?
