You are above both mediums (167/3.81) so if it were most other schools, I'd say a good chance.

From what I've read, UCB uses soft factors to a significant degree that predicting your chances there would be difficult.

So I don't know.

Just going off LSN. Two people were admitted last cycle with a 169. One was URM. Everyone else from 3.7-4.0 with 169 was rejected.

Things don't look much better at the 170 and 171 levels either. Meanwhile, a whole bunch of people with high GPAs and LSATs in the 166-168 range got in. The only thing we know about Berkeley is that they are a tough nut to crack, so make sure you really tailor your PS to their school and emphasize any diversity you might have.

I have the same numbers and I asked the same question a little while ago because Berkeley is one of the schools I am looking at and LSN made things look pretty bleak. What confused me was that the medians at Berkeley don't reflect what LSN shows. A decent number of people with our numbers must be getting in. If not, the medians would not look the way they do.

I still have no idea what our chances are, but I decided to apply and hope for the best.
