1.) CCN? (come on, dude, out.)
2.) MVP? (WL, then under 50% chance?)
3.) Penn ED? (tossup?)
4.) Mich ED? (tossup?)
5.) UVA ED in January (good chance?)
6.) NU RD? (Yes.)
7.) Chance at $ in T14 ? (Shut up.)
EDIT: 2 years work experience[/quote]
Similar numbers. 1. CC out, NYU wl/decent shot 2.mvp you're right 3. PEnn good chance Ed (i EDed this cycle) 4. good shot, same with uva 6. NU in 7. Dream on haha. Maybe gulc.
Obviously there will be variations between applicants but i think this sums it up. You can PM me later this year I'll update you on my cycle. I blanketed all t14 except YS B and D

I agree with all this except a slight caveat to 7. If you're able to get NYU you should be able to play that acceptance off for some $ from the lower T14, but in this scenario you might just take NYU over that anyway.

In at Northwestern and Georgetown RD.
ED to UVA is possible. Penn is going to be a WL. NYU is not very likely.

Really? LSN seems like NYU is 50/50 for OP.Doorkeeper wrote:In at Northwestern and Georgetown RD.

About 5 accepts in the 3.1-3.2/170-180 range and about 6 reject/WL in that range.

NYU seems unlikely
UVA/Penn it seems you have a chance

Re: 3.15 / 176 - I only have 7 questions!
I have a 2.8/176/2 years WE so keep in mind your cycle will probably be better than mine. My cycle is written below, guesses for yours are in parentheses.JDeezy wrote:Full disclosure: applying for Fall 2014 but just couldn't wait to make my very own chances thread. I intend on re-evaluating after this cycle has run its course but I'm curious and would like to stop obsessively worrying about it.
I've checked (too much) LSN, mylsn, LSP, etc but there aren't a ton of data points similar to mine.
My questions would be (with my current beliefs in parenthesis). If you can let me know if I am wrong that would be awesome.
I plan on applying in September.

EDIT: 2 years work experience
CCN - didn't apply (going to guess you're out though, sorry bro)
MVP - out at MP, in at V (I'd say that you have a shot at M, maybe less at P)
Penn ED - didn't apply (Unsure)
Mich ED - didn't apply (Good chance)
UVa ED in January - didn't do this but got in off the WL via RD in Oct (you probs won't need to do this, but if you do you're likely in)
NU RD - yes, with $$ (same to you but probs even more $$)
$ in T14 - I got $ from NU. Don't give up hope

Re: 3.15 / 176 - I only have 7 questions!
Thanks all for the input.
It was my impression that $ at any T14 for splitters was tough to come by.
NU is actually probably my top choice even though it is ranked below MVP. Is crumpetsandtea (poster above me) the lucky anomaly or do I have an actual shot at a partial scholarship at NU with 3.15/176?

Nah. Your LSAT is high enough that towards the end of the application cycle, when schools want to sure up their medians, you can probably pry some money from UVA, Georgetown, or NU. Probably $30-45k or so unless you get schools into a bidding war.JDeezy wrote:Thanks all for the input.

Re: 3.15 / 176 - I only have 7 questions!
If you're not wise enough to apply to all of the T-14 (minus Harvard, Yale & Stanford) which are of interest to you, then be thankful that the LSAT doesn't test for common sense.
You might be admitted to Columbia & NYU, but it is difficult to predict because you're an extreme splitter applying in a down application year. Throw in your 2 years of work experience & anything in the T-14 (minus H,Y & S) becomes a very real possibility, in my opinion.
P.S. Sorry, I seemed to have answered your eighth question.
