Retake is an option but I'm not sure how much improvement i can make in less than a month of prep.

Retake. Taking in Feb/June and a year off would be better than applying with what you have right now. If you can even hit 160, it's a different ballgame completely. There's a lot of good prep stuff on here; use it and profit.

If I were you, I would wait to take the June LSAT and apply next cycle. You can easily bump up your score into the 160's with a few months of studying. Personally, I increased my LSAT score by 13 points by studying 20 hours a week (4 hours after work, 5 nights a week) for 24 weeks. You will get into much better schools, and you can potentially save $100,000+ in increased scholarships. Doesn't that sound like a good investment?Aphi2008 wrote:*Strong

Do you know where you want to work after you graduate? Schools outside the t14 (and some would say every school that's not named Yale, Harvard, or Stanford) are regional and only place their graduates in the market in which the school is located. You should think carefully about where you want to settle down.
That said, you should also cast a wide net and apply to a good range of schools. URM cycles are always unpredictable - you might get really lucky somewhere. Also, you can leverage scholarship offers to get more $$$.
But most important of all: study hard and RETAKE!
