So, I took the October LSAT and got a 171. My LSDAS GPA stands at 2.88, with a 3.7 or so over the past 3 semesters.
I would just look at LSN, however I have what my advisor seems to think is a compelling story to help explain my GPA. I dealt with some depression issues during undergrad that was brought on by the abandonment of my father after he went to Afghanistan. Long story short, he cut off all ties with me with no warning for no reason, and the ensuing depression significantly harmed my GPA, before I sought counseling and turned things around. Once I got off anti-depressants and addressed the issue at hand, my GPA has risen to that 3.7 area. Finally, I'm graduating in December, so my only work experience is 30 hours a week in a retail setting.
So, my question is if I have any shot at the following schools if my PS and Addendum can show the effect of the depression effectively:
T14: UVA, NU, UM (Michigan Resident), Cornell, Georgetown
Others: WUSL, UIUIC, Indiana, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Michigan State

Yeah, my Addendum is going to be a specific explanation of why my gpa faltered, and I'm using my PS to tell my story and explain why it makes me a better student to have gone through the experience. Just hoping something sticks, or someone will give me money somewhere.

Well, Just my opinion-- Depression is still something that is a bit taboo. I would probably avoid talking about anti-depressants.

I wouldn't. Just be careful *how* you talk about it.

Could you stay an extra semester or two, since you haven't graduated yet?
If you could push your cumulative GPA over the 3.0 mark, I imagine it would help a lot.
