3.44 GPA/166 LSAT/URM
Hello everyone. Long time visitor to TLS, first time poster.
Above are my stats. What do you guys think of my chances of getting into a T16 or T20 school? Also, what kind of fin. aid you guys think I would receive (if any)? I also have Aspburger's Syndrome and I'm from a working class background, if that counts for anything in the admissions process. Thank you!

UCLA and Vandy are most likely not gonna happen.
You have an outside shot at UT, USC, UMN,UW (~20-30% chance).
Your best shots at T25 are Emory, W&L (~75%).
you are pretty much a lock at T30 state schools like ASU, Iowa, Indiana and Alabama with some scholarship $$.
Hitting the median LSAT anywhere, 167 at UT/USC/UMN/Cornell, 169 at UCLA, GULC, Michigan, Duke, 170 at UVA, NU... and you are probably in. Its silly one or two questions could make such a difference, but they do. Are you open to retaking?

I am open to retaking, but since I was approved for the LSAC fee wavier, I wonder if it is worth my chances applying this month to law schools. If I take the Dec. LSAT the soonest my scores will be available are in January, and it is likely there won't be any seats or funding left. If I don't get into any law schools worth going to this cycle, I can always retake the LSAT in June and try for next cycle.

Its true most seats are taken by January, but not even close to all. Last cycle, I applied in January and was accepted in March. I got 105k from a T20. Im a hispanic URM too btw.CWade wrote:LSAT the soonest my scores will be available are in January, and it is likely there won't be any seats or funding left.
Most schools will make room for a hispanic above the LSAT median.
I would suggest applying everywhere now. Retake in Dec if you can. Then retake again in June. If you can hit 170 by June, it is possible a T14 will still scoop you up for Class of 2016. Even if they reject you before then, they will reconsider.
and of course, if you dont like how your cycle shakes out, you will be in a good position for next cycle, assuming you bump your score a few points.
