3.9/167 Non-URM
already maxed out on retakes -- any recommendations on where to ED?
Softs:
d1 athlete/ team captain in ug
ivy master's degree
pretty good WE
I really appreciate any help anyone can give. Would just like to know whether I would have a realistic shot at any lower T14's if i went ED.
Also thinking about GW, since you get a full ride -- are there any other programs like that out there that anyone knows of?
Thanks.

Any chance at Duke/UVA/Mich/UPenn? Which would be the best to use the ED on?

I have similar numbers. I think we have an ok shot ~50% at ~t7 to ~t14 if we apply early (by the end of november) but very little chance at T5rsmits45 wrote:already maxed out on retakes -- any recommendations on where to ED?

I read that and it said if you want an evaluation of your soft factors go ahead and post. I haven't seen anyone that had college sports captain AND a grad degree from an ivy. how would those rate on the super-softs scale? I was also a rhodes finalist, but wasn't chosen, unfortunately.

Nobody gives a shit about being sports captain. Grad degree doesn't count for your GPA, it is a minor soft. It's not going to bump you over the edge.rsmits45 wrote:I read that and it said if you want an evaluation of your soft factors go ahead and post. With that GPA I would retake and shoot for HYS.

If i was in your situation
I would apply ED to a reach school like NYU
After that blanket the lower top-14
One of them will probably bite (Probably Cornell or Georgetown)
Not sure if it's worth ED'ing to a school that you have a decent shot at getting accepted into anyway
With that being said you're probably not looking at big money from any of them.
So, ED or not, probably won't matter much in terms of money
