Re: 3.58 gpa, 169 lsat, upenn?
169 is Berkeley's 75th. Im not sure sure a 175 would've helped you that much more. I would still shoot Berkeley an app, as they care the most about "soft" factors like a great story in your PS.
- Chicago and Columbia aren't happening (unless you're URM)
- Penn is also probably not happening. Whether you think it's worth the 100 bucks for a slim shot at a school you'd love to
go to is up to you.
Of these 4 schools you listed, your LSAT score affects your chances the least at Berkeley

If this was your first time taking the test, test nerves are quite normal and are usually not that bad the 2nd or 3rd time around.
Anyways, you'll be automatically dinged at NYU, ED or not. Seems like a waste of ED, but if you don't plan on EDing anywhere else I guess it doesn't hurt to try.
You have a good shot at Cornell. And yeah, USC and UCLA should be good to go. Good luck!

hmm in that case, should i consider applying ED to Cornell? I have to research it more, to make sure I'm 100% sure I would attend (Ithaca is freezin!). But they seem to have a greater diversity of course offerings than usc or ucla....

There is no ED program for Cornell, only a non-binding EA program which you missed already. I would just get your app in ASAP, you should get in there.mmbt123 wrote:hmm in that case, should i consider applying ED to Cornell? Re: 3.58 gpa, 169 lsat, chances at t14?
Thanks guys! Is Stanford like Berkeley in that they take softs into consideration? I know with my numbers, it doesn't look good but given that I went there for undergrad and loved it, it's hard to resist applying. But I also don't want to waste money. Did enough of that on useless lsat prep...
