I got a 162 on my LSAT and have a 3.66 GPA from Excelsior College. The college is an online school geared towards military and the like who have to complete their degree with a lot of flexibility. Obviously having this degree will work against me.
I live in NYC and would like to go to a school in NYC or New Jersey.
I am thinking of applying to the following schools:
1)Brooklyn Law School
2)NY Law School
3)St. Johns
4)Yeshiva-Cardozo
5)Seton Hall
6)Rutgers
7)Hofstra
8)Fordham part time
I would really appreciate feedback on what you think and what kind of money I can get from any of the schools. Cheers;)

You got an awesome GPA. I don't know if being an online school hurts you, but you got the military thing going for you.
My advice, retake!
I got a 162 the first time, and a 167 the second time. You have no idea how much of a difference it makes. I know it sucks, but trust me, you will be so happy you did a retake.

I would also recommend retaking the LSAT. Just a few more weeks of studying can make a huge difference, both in terms of getting into better schools and getting more scholarship money. I also got 162, but retook the test and got a 165 after studying for 20 hours a week for ten weeks (4 hours a night, 5 days a week after I got off work - if I had made a full time commitment to studying I easily could have gotten another four or five more points on top of my 165). I had a 3.4 gpa from a fairly prestigious liberal arts school, and got $$ from Cardozo.
Best of luck with your cycle - hope everything goes well!

Keep me posted on your results. I am applying to similar schools with a 3.66/161 and 2/3 "regular" college and 1/3 online. I can't wait to see how our cycles go!!!
