171/3.49 ED or RD

Post by gate08 » Sat Sep 29, 2012 11:27 am

I have a 171 and 3.49 from a liberal arts school, with pretty decent softs. I am back and forth about whether to apply ED somewhere in the T14 to give me the best shot and waiting out the cycle to see where I get in and if there's any chance of money. I'd be pretty happy to go anywhere, I just don't want to apply RD everywhere and come back with few, or no, acceptances. Any advice?

With that LSAT it looks like you could probably get some bottom T14 admits RD.

I would probably throw apps at 7-14.

I would make it 6-14 and throw an app to NYU as well with apps down think you have a shot of sneaking in off the WL

I was 3.5/171. I would not suggest ED'ing anywhere (possibly a reach school so that you have a better shot at getting in off the WL).

I did not ED anywhere. My cycle went as follows:

HYS - Did not apply
CCN - In at Chicago off WL, In at NYU off WL
MVPB - In at M/P, WL at V, Out at B
DCNG - In at all (off WL at D)

Put together a good application. I received scholarship money from every school.
