What are my chances?

Post by spartan2012 » Sun Sep 23, 2012 4:44 pm

LSAT: 166
GPA: 3.85

I also have a MS in accounting from a top 5 ranked accounting program and a couple years experience working in tax at a big four firm. I'd like to pursue a career in tax law.

Any comments or suggestions on which schools I should apply to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Similar numbers.

HYS is out. But apply everywhere else in the T-14.

With a 3.85, I would retake at least once more and try to get close to 170. You have a shot at CCN if you can get a couple more points. Right now, you would probably get in if you ED UVA. You would have a good shot at DNCG and possibly Michigan.

Oh dear god. Your GPA is above median at multiple T-14 schools. Go prep your heart out, retake in December, and get at least a 170. Don't settle for 166. I know a lot of people on this board that wish they had your GPA.
